Internships (1-2 positions per year)

The WKTV internship program provides an opportunity to become familiar with the field of broadcast news. WKTV works with colleges and universities to provide students the opportunity to apply learned coursework with practical experience in the workplace. Students are exposed to different departments whereby the student may select an area of concentration. This introductory phase is followed by intense and broad practice in their chosen department. Students are held accountable for their work-product and are provided autonomy to show their ability. Both foreign and local students are welcome to apply for internships. WKTV News

The WKTV news team consists of writers, field reporters, news editors, cameramen, and anchors. WKTV develops and offers our audience more stories during our local news than any other Korean broadcaster in the U.S. The news team covers top international news, local news in the Washington DC metropolitan and Chicago regions, as well as, sports and weather.

Fluency in the Korean language is preferred.
